Wyndham Grand Tbilisi

Set across eight floors with 158 stylish guest rooms, including 17 suites and two presidential suites, Wyndham Grand Tbilisi boasts an impressive lobby featuring the bespoke 22-metre Chandelier of Peace, five well-equipped conference spaces as well as a relaxing lounge bar and three restaurants, which serve a range of local and international delicacies complimented by a rich selection of cocktails and delicious Georgian wine. The property, which opened last May, is located centrally on Freedom Square, and has been designed by renowned architect, Yuri Puchinsky, to fit with the historic architecture of the neighbourhood, matching nearby landmarks including the National Library of Georgia and the National Museum.

Radisson RED Tbilisi Old Town

The new Radisson RED Tbilisi Old Town, Georgia, is set to open its doors in late 2020. In the heart of the Old Town, located on the popular pedestrian Agmashenebeli Avenue which is lined with cafes and bars, and only minutes from the famous sites of the Old Town, the 100-room property will occupy the famous old ‘Postampt (Post Office)’ building. It will also feature the OUIBar + KTCHN as well as an inner courtyard bar & restaurant, RED Fitness, flexible meeting space and the signature RED lobby experience. The design will be a mix of classic and modern, while the district itself is a labyrinth of narrow streets with old brick-build homes and wooden balconies bursting with colourful flowers.

Heritage Hotel & Suites

Groups looking for a more boutique experience should check out the newly opened Heritage Hotel & Suites. Set in a 120-year old building, the elegant property merges modern and minimalist design throughout its 23 rooms. Features include a relaxation area with steam room and gym, business centre and Patrimony restaurant with show kitchen serving breakfast and Georgian and European cuisine. The property is located within walking distance of numerous shopping mall, restaurants, theatres and nightlife, and a ten-minute drive from Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue.

The House Hotel Old Tbilisi

Another boutique option is set to open in Tbilisi’s old town this May. Located in a historical building, The House Hotel Old Tbilisi will be the new gem in town, with 17 boutique rooms designed to preserve the historical style while showcasing local contemporary art and modern design. Under the guidance of Spanish Michelin star chef, Jaume Puigdengolas, the 70-seat courtyard restaurant will attract both locals and international guests.
