Following Eurostar’s 30th anniversary in November last year, a bold new chapter is taking shape for the brand—one that merges seamless cross-border travel with elevated customer experiences, greener operations, and more flexibility than ever. And for those in the world of meetings, incentives, conferences, and events, the message is clear: now is the time to rethink group travel by rail.
With new travel classes, a reimagined culinary experience, flexible ticketing, brand new Amsterdam terminal and a commitment to comfort, the high-speed rail leader is creating a premium experience that begins the moment your delegates step on board.
Return to Amsterdam
The brand-new UK Terminal at Amsterdam Central, which officially opened on 10 February 2025, coincided with the relaunch of direct Eurostar services from Amsterdam to London—bringing with it faster journeys and expanded capacity.
It’s now significantly larger, capable of handling 400 passengers per train (up from 275), and is designed to eventually accommodate up to 650 by September 2025—unlocking greater ease and flexibility for larger group bookings.
Functioning as a Schengen external border, the terminal now handles all necessary passport and baggage checks in Amsterdam, eliminating the previous mid-journey stop in Brussels. The result? A faster, smoother journey—and a more streamlined experience for organisers and delegates alike.
In true Eurostar fashion, the new terminal is more than just functional—it’s a statement of sustainability and design excellence. With carbon-negative flooring, an A+ energy rating, and sustainable materials throughout (from recycled plating to felt ceilings), the space reflects Eurostar’s commitment to low-impact, high-value travel.
Three New Travel Classes
Eurostar’s new unified travel classes—Eurostar Standard, Eurostar Plus, and Eurostar Premier—are designed to meet the evolving needs of modern travellers, following two years of extensive research and customer feedback.
No hidden fees, no complicated booking tiers. Just premium service designed to make European rail travel effortless and rewarding—especially for group organisers managing a wide range of delegate expectations.
Eurostar Standard delivers the essentials with style: flexible, city-centre to city-centre travel with free WiFi, charging points, generous luggage policies, and light refreshments available for purchase.
Eurostar Plus steps things up with more spacious seating, extra workspace, and a light meal with drinks service—ideal for working en route or hosting small group discussions.
Eurostar Premier is the pinnacle: offering all-day boarding guarantees, exclusive lounge access, a dedicated priority lane, and a four-course fine dining experience that rivals business class in the skies.
Culinary Collaborations
After a decade of French dining, Eurostar recently revolutionised its gastronomic offering. For the first time in high-speed rail history, three food and beverage visionaries have come together to serve their contemporary creations onboard the trains.
Eurostar Premier now features a Michelin-starred onboard menu curated by three of Europe’s most exciting culinary talents:
- Jérémy Chan, Executive Chef at London’s Ikoyi (2 Michelin stars), crafts bold and globally inspired mains using locally sourced ingredients.
- Jessica Préalpato, named the world’s best pastry chef, delivers delicate desserts grounded in natural flavours, ancient grains and unrefined sugars.
- Honey Spencer, natural wine advocate and one of London’s top sommeliers, curates a rotating wine list showcasing small producers and sustainable vineyards across France and beyond.
The result? A seasonal, four-course gastronomic experience served at 300km/h. Expect dishes like curried cauliflower mousseline, baked salmon with coconut rice, or roasted pumpkin with cashew miso—each paired with premium organic wines or carefully crafted mocktails. It’s a dining experience worthy of a top-tier incentive trip or VIP group.
Exclusive Coach Hire
Why wait until you reach your destination to get started? Clients’ arranging an event can travel in style in their very own coach, making the journey itself part of the event. Exclusive coaches are available in every class and can seat 40 people or more.
Customers can also add a personal touch with branded items, including headrest covers, coasters and napkins.
Eurostar offers an array of Onboard Experiences hosted by experts for clients who want something unique to impress their guests, ranging from cheese tasting experiences to gin journeys and art history sessions. Customers can even choose from themes inspired by our most popular destinations.
From terminal to table, Eurostar’s ongoing evolution delivers the best of Europe in motion. Whether you’re planning an executive offsite in Brussels, an incentive escape in Paris or a creative retreat in Amsterdam, Eurostar offers the speed, sophistication, and sustainability that today’s delegates demand.
With elevated service, world-class dining, and a seamless booking experience, it’s no longer about just getting from A to B. It’s about inspiring your delegates, rewarding your teams, and setting the tone for what’s to come.
