COMO Cocoa Island to reopen in January

COMO Cocoa Island to reopen in January

COMO Cocoa Island to reopen in January 1024 683 micebook.

No chocolates for Mister Micebook this Christmas as he’s off to Cocoa Island…

Mister Micebook occasionally has to take it for the team and try out the very best in incentive retreats – think intimate, high-end luxury resorts that deliver bragging rights to silence the most well-heeled traveller. So brace yourself for epic jealousy, as this January, he’ll be detoxing at COMO Cocoa Island in the Maldives, which will reopen at the start of the year following a seven-month overhaul.

The 34 new overwater suites and villas have a unique ‘dhoni boat’ structure and curve out from the island itself, connected by an overwater boardwalk pathway. Mister Micebook will be spending time in the newly expanded wellness centre, plus checking out the pilates studio.

Mornings will be spent in the new yoga studio, which features a 360-degree view of the island. Experiences on Cocoa Island include snorkelling expeditions to the nearby reef to swim with hawksbill turtles, a coral propagation trip to the reefs in the house lagoon and a sunset cruise through the waters of the South Male Atoll, spotting dolphins as the sun goes down.
