We’re delighted to announce that leading cyberpsychologist, author and speaker Dr Elaine Kasket will deliver a keynote session at our International Women’s Day 2024 event, in partnership with Speakers Corner.
We have also extended the special early bird ticket rate until 9 February, giving you an extra 10 days to take advantage of the offer.
Taking place on Friday 8 March at Tobacco Dock, the full day event will aim to ignite discussions and actions within the events industry that inspire understanding and appreciation for women’s inclusion.
Dr Elaine Kasket, an expert in how our digital choices shape our humanity, experience, and relationships across the lifespan, at home and at work, will kick off the day with a thought-provoking keynote session. By dialoguing with diverse audiences, she takes her knowledge and insights into the places where it matters most: the spaces occupied by everyday life, relationships, and business.
Aligned with the global IWD theme of #InspireInclusion, this year we break away from previous traditions of hosting a female-only event and extend a warm welcome to the entire industry with the goal of a brighter tomorrow for all.
Attendees can expect to immerse themselves in a learning journey featuring engaging discussions and content streams that revolve around cultivating belonging, emphasising relevance and empowerment for all participants by sharing voices of both men and women in the industry.
An afternoon of interactive workshop sessions will include topics such as designing inclusive events for visible & invisible disabilities, how to boost your confidence to elevate your career and building trust through difficult conversations, empowering attendees with practical takeaways to drive inclusivity in the workplace and personal growth.
Wellbeing elements will be weaved throughout the day, and there will be sessions focused on women’s health from menopause, to managing mental load and work/life balance and more.
