Belmond has appointed Heléna Vella as client director for groups & events, UK and Ireland.
The strategic hire completes the UK Groups Team, further strengthening the luxury brand’s sales team and enhancing its deep expertise in the luxury events and incentives market.
Vella brings over 15 years of experience delivering events, incentive travel and immersive brand experiences for some of the world’s leading luxury and premium brands.
She joined Belmond from Quintessentially, a global brand experience agency, where she most recently served as co-head of Quintessentially Experiences, jointly leading the department, servicing key client accounts and overseeing operational excellence.
In her new role at Belmond, she is reunited with Louis Ramsey (client manager for Groups & Events, UK and Ireland), having previously worked together at Quintessentially.
She will also be working closely with Nicky Price, senior client director for groups and celebrations, UK and Ireland) to evolve Belmond’s sales strategy and enhance the company’s focus on the luxury events and incentives segment.
