Brand experience agency Yellow Fish has appointed Heather Silcock as a senior account manager.
Silcock will be joining the live team to deliver client brand experiences, bringing skills honed from her past four years of freelancing with top UK events agencies and before that, a stint at Black Tomato Agency alongside Yellow Fish’s Jess Charles and David Heron, previous Co-Heads of Agency up until 2020.
“I’ve thoroughly loved being freelance and feel privileged to have worked with some of the best people and agencies in the business. But after working with Yellow Fish for a short time last year, I feel like I’ve found my home and am thrilled to now be joining as a permanent member of the team,” she said. “The projects, growth, and direction of the company are incredibly exciting, and I can’t wait to be part of the journey.”
Jess Charles, head of live, added: “It has been a pleasure to watch Heather grow over the past 4 years since taking the leap into the freelance world. She has upskilled and grown her industry network during this time. Being able to reintroduce her back into the live team here at Yellow Fish as a permanent member of the team was always a strategic plan of ours as we continue to take the business into its next phase of growth.
“Heather has always been one of those rare finds who understands the importance of process, is able to navigate new challenges with total independence and can be trusted with the most complex client requests when it comes to project and campaign management. She is an absolute asset to our growing team, and I feel privileged that we get to have her commit to us.”
Silcock will initially take on a direct report and play a significant role in developing the agency’s processes and junior members of the team over the next few years. Her role as senior account manager will also see her take on new key client accounts and play an invaluable part in their account growth and retention.
