The Opus Group, a network of experience agencies including Opus Agency, MAS and Verve, has appointed Michael Coppock as chief operating officer. In the role, he will oversee global shared services and operational infrastructure, working with leadership teams across the network to drive efficiency and consistency as the group continues its international expansion.
Coppock’s remit covers global systems and technology, talent and development, legal, M&A integration and operational strategy. He brings over a decade of experience scaling operations for high-growth global platforms, most recently spending over eight years at Airbnb as director of strategy and global operations.
Kim Kopetz, president and chief executive officer of The Opus Group, said: “As we scale globally, building the operational backbone to support our teams and our clients has become mission-critical. His combination of breadth and depth makes him exactly the leader we need to evolve our infrastructure for the next phase of this journey.”
Coppock added: “I am thrilled to join Kim and the entire leadership team to build the connectivity, systems, and operational excellence that will empower our talented global teams to innovate and deliver value at scale.”
