London based creative events agency Powwow has announced that Katie Curzon is taking on the role of managing director.
Curzon’s appointment forms part of a wider management restructure that also sees Matt Edgcumbe moving to the role of CEO, and founder and director, Amanda Edgcumbe, focussing on the agency’s social impact and legacy.
The changes are part of a growth and succession plan for the business, with senior team members also moving into new roles.
Curzon said: “Having spent much of my career at Powwow, this feels like the natural next step, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to take the agency forward into a new phase. I’m incredibly fortunate to work alongside a brilliantly talented team and together we are implementing some exciting agency developments in 2024 – watch this space.”
Matt Edgcumbe added: “This is a new and exciting chapter for the agency. In 2022/23 we’ve had our two most successful years to date and the change in senior team roles will support our future growth.”
