Hyatt was crowned winner in our new Best Hotel Brand category at the micebook Awards last month. We share highlights from the winning entry…
Hyatt’s impressive portfolio features more than 1,250 hotels in 75 countries across six continents, and meeting and events are a huge focus for the group.
With the Hyatt Lifestyle & Unbound collection of extraordinary event and meeting experiences available worldwide, it is possible to organise an intimate celebration within the 100-year-old walls of Andaz London’s Masonic Temple, to be inspired during an eclectic event at one of Hôtel du Louvre’s Parisian ateliers, or to escape to Grand Hyatt Kochi to meet on a serene Houseboat.
Hyatt recently evolved its Together by Hyatt meeting and event philosophy with the launch of new Event Experience Guides, designed to provide all the information a meeting planner needs in one place, so they can focus on delivering exceptional events for attendees.
Planners now have an interactive, easy-to-navigate online platform, enabling them to choose their ideal venue based on wellness, sustainability, culinary creativity, team experiences, technology, and more.
Resources include curated food and beverage menus unique to each location, with Hyatt’s “Food. Thoughtfully Sourced. Carefully Served.” philosophy incorporated, “Sustainability Fact Sheets” customised by hotel and access to renowned wellbeing specialists, offering an opportunity for attendees to prioritise their wellbeing as part of their event experience.
One judge said Hyatt is a great example of how a brand moves with consumer expectations to consistently exceed expectations. “The inclusion and thought behind incorporating a ‘well-being’ lens into its branded proposition is impressive. Alongside the flexibility of information, support and insights they offer, Hyatt’s new initiative will set a new standard in the industry.”
