Rocco Forte Hotels has announced that it will operate a new luxury resort in Sardinia, set to open in 2024.
Formerly known as Hotel Le Palme, the resort is in Liscia di Vacca, Porto Cervo, on Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda, famed for its white sandy beaches and pristine turquoise waters.
The resort’s landscape and architectural design are the brainchild of Patrizia Pozzi and Efisio Onali, with Patricia Urquiola overseeing the interior design. The concept incorporates natural materials, local craftsmanship, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
Set to open in 2024, the fully redeveloped resort by Rocco Forte Hotels will feature 64 rooms and suites, a state-of-the-art spa and the choice of three restaurants as well as a panoramic rooftop bar and meeting and event space.
The new resort is jointly developed with Eidos Hotel Capital Partners acting as an operating partner and asset manager for Sixth Street, which acquired the property in January 2022.
It will complement Rocco Forte’s existing portfolio of Italian hotels and resorts in Rome, Florence, Sicily, and Puglia, along with The Carlton Milano and Rocco Forte House, which are scheduled to open in Milan in 2024.
