Virgin Hotels, the luxury lifestyle hotel brand by Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson, has announced it is now taking bookings ahead of opening on 1 December.
Situated on the banks of River Clyde, Virgin Hotels Glasgow will feature 240 ‘Chambers’ spanning across 15 floors, as well as four dining and drinking options.
These include playful and sophisticated Commons Club, Virgin Hotels’ flagship restaurant and bar that acts as a modern-day social club; Highyard, for entertaining, co-working and dining; Funny Library Coffee Shop; and the elegant late-night bar, Rocks.
With a prime city centre position, the hotel has panoramic views overlooking the River Clyde to the south, and across to the heart of Glasgow in the north, making it an ideal base for meeting and incentive groups to explore the city.
The hotel claims to offer “creative spaces, engaging environments, and inspirational teams that support and bring your visions to life”.
The hotel has been developed and is owned by Silk Property Group and managed by Virgin Hotels. It’s the second Virgin Hotels in the UK opening this year along with a new property in Edinburgh.
