CrowdComms has become the first event platform and software provider to join isla, the industry body supporting the event sector’s transition to a more sustainable future.
CrowdComms, which has been delivering event solutions both digitally and in-person for over a decade, is also micebook’s technology partner for this year’s V Awards.
isla co-founder Anna Abdelnoor commented: “CrowdComms joining isla’s action-driven network is a demonstration to their clients and to the wider events industry that the business is actively committed to achieving its sustainability ambitions.
“Embedding isla’s resources and tools will allow CrowdComms to start standardising their processes, paving the way to ensuring the clients they work with are both aware of how to deliver responsible events, as well as held accountable to this happening in reality.”
Felix Stroud-Allen, Founder, CrowdComms added: “The CrowdComms team are incredibly proud to join isla. We believe it allows us to make our commitment to sustainability explicit, make positive changes in how we do business and ultimately, get behind a crucial issue the whole business believes in passionately.
“Joining isla requires businesses to put in place very tangible and measurable steps to demonstrate its commitment to continued improvement, and we look forward to drawing on isla’s expertise and knowledge to facilitate this change confidently.”
isla recently launched TRACE, a purpose-built carbon measurement platform developed to give event agencies, exhibition organisers, brands and in-house teams insight into the environmental impact of their event operations.
