Pixl Evolution picked up the gong for Best Virtual Event Studio at the micebook V Awards 2022. We share a snapshot from their winning entry…
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Pixl quickly developed into virtual broadcasting, partnering with John Henry’s Ltd. in Central London, to offer a wide array of studio capabilities starting in June 2020, including xR, green screen, and many other broadcast capabilities for virtual and hybrid events.
The Pixl team provides all on-site technical support for clients, ensuring a smooth delivery from studio 7 (traditional broadcast, green screen, etc.), studio 8 (xR) and the MCR (master control room).
Pixl invested heavily in both resources and budget to undertake technology research and development, ensuring the adoption of only the most robust and reliable technology for clients’ needs. The team tested the systems relentlessly to ensure studio offering would be close to perfect with new technologies in play.
Pixl studios has delivered revenues of £4,585,361 from opening in June of 2020 through March of 2022, with the team producing global broadcasts for many high-profile clients, including TikTok, Elton John, Samsung, EE, ABTA, and Universal Music. Pixl’s London facility shone in two highly successful events – Mitel’s Global Kickoff Summit and NEXT Event was broadcast across the globe, and P&O Cruises’ Christmas Broadcast, which was very well received.
Judges said the entry included strong explanations of process and overcoming barriers and made them want to go and check out the studio.
