From Paphos to Limassol, Mister Micebook adores the island with a steep C&I heritage…
With its rich history, warm welcome and C&I savvy ground handlers, Cyprus has never quite fallen out of vogue with event planners planning European gatherings.
Mister Micebook is heading out next spring for a blast of winter sun, buoyed with the knowledge that much-admired DMC Honeywell Events has teamed up with Pearl Representation to promote the island.
After touching down in charming Paphos, he’ll be checking out the newly opened Louis Ivi Mare (right and above), a contemporary beachfront hotel which opened this May, just 12km from the airport and within strolling distance of the medieval castle.
Dining options include the Akakiko Asian restaurant which serves fusion dishes but Mister Micebook will be indulging in the local Cypriot dishes served at the Elliniko Greek restaurant.
Next stop on the island odyssey will be the ultra-luxe Amara, which opened in Spring in Limassol. Each of the striking 207 rooms look out across the Mediterranean, as does the inviting infinity pool. This haven of a property features an on-site spa but true indulgence is to be enjoyed through its culinary offerings.
This is the retreat for gastronomes with restaurants including NOBU Matsuhisa Limassol, Ristorante Locatelli by Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli, plus Armyra by Papaioannou, a dedicated seafood restaurant celebrating island living, all on site.
