Looking for information on how best to incorporate sustainability or wellbeing into your next event? Or for inspiration for your next winter incentive? Then check out micebook’s new eXperience guides, which were launched at the Site GB Incentive Summit last week…
The new guides, which sit alongside established continent, destination and city guides on the online planner’s hub, will enable event organisers to search for content by theme or experience as well as destination.
“Not all planners search by destination or city – and nor should they. The way people search is changing. It takes creativity to win a pitch. The new eXperience guides will enable planners to search by topic and come up with ideas that not only meet client objectives but also provide a memorable experience for their guests,” explained Chetan Shah, micebook founder.
The new themed guides alleviate the problem of clicking through endless web pages by placing information which is useful and relevant to event planners all in one place.
Sustainability was chosen as the first topic for the new theme-based launch, along with wellbeing and winter incentives. Chetan added: “Sustainability is the hottest topic in the industry right now. The information contained in micebook’s guide on this topic will assist planners in making the right choices for their pitches. It will help them ascertain which hotels and destinations are embedding sustainability into their business practices.”
The specialist guide is available at https://micebook.com/destinations/experiences/ and includes content which can help planners achieve sustainable development goals for their events. Articles within the guide currently include getting started with and creating sustainable events, through to four of the most sustainable hotels in Copenhagen.
Abena Poku-Awuah, MD of Legacy Events who provided the Planner View point on the sustainability guide commented: “Legacy welcomes this new source of information on sustainable events. We hope it inspires creativity and imagination for event planners all over the world who want to reduce their environmental impact.”
micebook’s first three eXperience guides are now live on micebook.com and the series will be expanded over the next few months to include cruising, driving experiences, safari and more!
