Corinthia Hotel Budapest
First opened in 1896 as the Grand Hotel Royal, Corinthia Hotel Budapest (above) remains among the grandest hotels in the city. Meticulously renovated, the hotel’s rich history blends seamlessly with state-of-the-art features, such as an original 19th century spa, elegant eateries, two bars and the city’s largest hotel conference facilities. This includes the impressive Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 450 people in rich baroque surrounds. The hotel offers 413 contemporary rooms, while retaining the beautiful historical features such as marble floors, a grand sweeping staircase and a stunning six-storey atrium. Its central location means its within easy walking distance from major attractions including the Opera House, Heroes’ Square, City Park with Budapest Zoo and St Stephen’s Basilica.

Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest
A landmark on the banks of the Danube River, this hotel started life as an office building, built by the British Gresham Insurance Company in 1906. The impressive Art-Nouveau exterior gives way to numerous stained glass, mosaic and ironwork masterpieces on the inside, with 160 chic rooms and 19 suites. Named after the Hungarian word for “collage,” KOLLÁZS is the hotel’s contemporary European brasserie, while its spa draws on Budapest’s renowned heritage in wellness. Event planners can choose from nine distinctive, light-filled rooms hosting a up to 220 guests, and the hotel’s location on the river makes it a stunning backdrop for car launch events.

The Ritz-Carlton Budapest
Set within a 19th century heritage building in the heart of the city, the Ritz-Carlton Budapest offers 171 contemporary luxury rooms and 20 suites, a short walk from St. Stephen’s Basilica, Erzsébet Square and the River Danube. Five meeting spaces include a large ballroom for up to 180 theatre-style, and four smaller spaces for groups of eight to 80. Specialty catering services include creations from the in-house pastry kitchen and themed and customised menus. For Hungarian-inspired dishes crafted with local ingredients, check out Deák St. Kitchen, Kupola Bar and Kupola Lounge, set beneath a stained-glass cupola. The hotel also features a luxury spa and a striking indoor pool set beneath a glass roof.
