Identity has expanded its senior leadership team with two new hires – Nicola Bateman-Phillips as growth director and Mary Carter-Lee as people and culture director.
Bateman-Phillips has over 20 years’ experience leading award-winning teams in events, media and marketing services and most recently led the Maritime, Energy and Agra business at Informa Plc.
Mary Carter-Lee, whose passion for employee engagement has been forged over a 20+ year career in HR in sectors including hospitality, health, and manufacturing, has managed HR teams at brands including Parker Pen and the Royal Automotive Club.
Michael Gietzen, managing director, Identity, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nicola and Mary to the team. It is a hugely exciting time to join Identity, as we prepare to deliver COP26, as well as other world class events for our clients.
“We know that to be exceptional, we need to work with exceptional people and are committed to increasing our already high levels of employee satisfaction and engagement. Nicola and Mary will be instrumental to achieving our company objectives, furthering business growth, and realising our goal of being a top employer.”
Identity announced in June that it had been awarded the lead supporting agency role to deliver COP26 in Glasgow this November, which is expected to be one of the largest gatherings of Heads of State ever hosted in the UK.
The agency also successfully delivered the 47th G7 Summit earlier this year, which saw Prime Minister Boris Johnson, leaders of G7 nations, the EU and guest countries, gather in Carbis Bay, Cornwall for three days.
Listed in 25th place in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table of the fastest growing companies in the UK, Identity expects to continue to grow its 100+ team and is actively recruiting for several other key roles, in various departments including account management and production.
