Experience agency Identity has expanded into Australia through the acquisition of Queensland-based major projects specialist EPG, strengthening its global delivery capability.

The move gives Identity a presence across the UK, Europe, US, Middle East and Australia, enabling the agency to deliver major projects across key international markets.

EPG will continue to operate under its existing brand as “An Identity Company”, led by Andrew Sharp and Jake Benson, from its Queensland base.

The acquisition brings additional expertise in delivering large-scale projects including sporting events, expos, business conferences and cultural activations, while extending Identity’s footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.

Simon Dunnell, director of major projects at Identity, said: “Andrew and Jake have built an exceptional business with deep expertise in sporting events, expos and large-scale activations. Their capability strengthens our delivery across existing markets while establishing our presence in Australia.”

Michael Gietzen, group CEO of Identity, added: “Our clients expect world-class experiences regardless of where they are activating. With teams now across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia, we can deliver globally with local expertise.”

Andrew Sharp, director at EPG, said: “Our clients will continue working with the same EPG team, while gaining access to enhanced capabilities and global resources.”

The agency said the expanded network will support the delivery of international projects across multiple markets, combining local teams with its wider global infrastructure.
