From exciting new builds to impeccably refurbished historic sites, London will welcome another raft of hotels in 2026. We highlight nine of the best for planners looking for the newest hotspots set to shake up the capital’s hotel scene…

Cambridge House, Auberge Resorts Collection

Auberge Resorts Collection will make its London debut in 2026 with the opening of Cambridge House, which promises to “bring refined luxury, bespoke service, world-class dining, and a destination spa to London’s storied Mayfair”. The 102-room hotel will feature event spaces suited to a range of gatherings, including a Georgian-style ballroom, while the property’s restaurants, bars and private rooms can accommodate events of every size and concept. The double-level spa will introduce Auberge’s holistic wellness offering to London, with extensive hydrotherapy facilities, two heated swimming pools and seven treatment rooms.

Waldorf Astoria Admiralty Arch, London

After a six-year project, the iconic London landmark Admiralty Arch is transforming into a five-star luxury Waldorf Astoria hotel with 100 rooms and suites, a ballroom, a spa, a rooftop terrace, bars and restaurants from world-renowned chefs. Set to open in 2026, rooms will feature lavish finishes, the latest technology and incredible views of The Mall and Trafalgar Square, while public areas of the hotel will reflect its Grade I-listed status. The building, originally commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria, stands at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, offering unparalleled views of the Palace in one direction and across Nelson’s Column and Trafalgar Square in the other.

The Other House, Covent Garden

Located in London’s theatre district, a stone’s throw from the iconic piazza, The Other House Covent Garden will offer 146 signature bedrooms and Club Flats, featuring fully equipped kitchenettes and living spaces. The property will house the latest outpost of its destination cocktail bar, Owl & Monkey, relaxed all-day dining brasserie, The Other Kitchen, and its private club, accessible to members and residents. The exclusive rooftop bar, The Peacock Lounge, will sit above the Covent Garden roofline, offering a panoramic view of London’s iconic landmarks. Wellness and fitness facilities will include a subterranean vitality pool, sound bath, treatment rooms, and a gym.

Six Senses London

An iconic art deco building and former department store, Whiteleys is soon to become home to the long-awaited Six Senses London. The hotel is expected to take bookings from April 2026 with 14 branded residences and 109 guest rooms and suites celebrating the building’s origins, while making space for modern living. Highlights for event organisers and business travellers will include a wellness club and spa, a cosy lobby bar and lounge, various spaces for private events, an all-day dining restaurant with an open kitchen and a courtyard.

St. Regis London

The St. Regis London is scheduled to open in spring 2026, marking the luxury brand’s first UK property. Located in the former Westbury Mayfair hotel on the corner of Conduit and New Bond Street, the hotel is undergoing a £90 million redevelopment, including the addition of an eighth floor. When complete, The St. Regis London will feature around 196 rooms and suites, alongside a signature restaurant, speakeasy jazz bar, fitness centre and spa. The hotel will retain the long-standing Polo Bar, originally designed for the Phipps family of America, avid polo players and creators of the Westbury Hotel in New York and London.

Hyatt Regency London Olympia

Directly connecting to the historic Olympia convention centre, the 196-room Hyatt Regency London Olympia marks the eighth Hyatt in the capital. Scheduled to open in May 2026, the five-star hotel boasts a restaurant and lounge with a bar and market area, as well as three modern meeting rooms ideal for small gatherings, strategy sessions or breakout meetings. Hyatt Regency London Olympia is part of a new development that will see Olympia, London’s historic convention centre built in 1873, redeveloped and transformed into an integrated convention, entertainment, and cultural district in West London.

The Newman

The debut property from Kinsfolk & Co, The Newman will open in Fitzrovia next year. It will feature 81 rooms, suites and apartments. The rooftop floor offers a signature suite with a private terrace and when booked as a whole, provides exclusive use of the floor and its four-bedroom suite. Other amenities include a European brasserie seating 120 customers, a lower ground cocktail bar and two private event and dining rooms, as well as a spa occupying one floor of the building. Features include hot and cold experience cabins, an active salt therapy room, a hydrotherapy pool, in addition to treatment rooms, a meditation studio and a gym.

Imperial Hotel Bloomsbury

With 357 thoughtfully designed rooms, a workout suite, a lounge, multiple dining spaces and a stunning panoramic rooftop bar, the completely refurbished Imperial Hotel in Bloomsbury is set to reopen its doors in spring 2026. Overlooking Russell Square, the brutalist building will be transformed into a four-star deluxe lifestyle hotel, serving as the flagship of the family-owned hospitality group.

House of Gods

House of Gods Canary Wharf will mark the first London site for the Scotland-based hotel group when it opens in early 2026. The 79-bedroom hotel will be home to a 300-cover rooftop restaurant and bar called Sacred Garden, which boasts views over Eden Dock. The hotel forms part of a new hospitality and leisure venue led by Imbiba, the specialist leisure, lifestyle, and entertainment investor and will be joined by an Amazing Grace music venue and a new events facility which will be operated by Broadwick Live.
