Joanne Taylor-Stagg has joined Exclusive Collection as general manager at Pennyhill Park.
Reporting to David Connell, group director of operations, she will oversee a team of over 240 people and drive Pennyhill Park’s commitment to being a B Corp, while also raising its profile as a go to destination and employer of choice.
Taylor-Stagg brings extensive experience from five-star hotels including The Atheneum Hotel and Residences where she was awarded Manager of the Year at the 2021 Cateys, The Capital Hotel and The Trafalgar.
She started her career in hotels in Johannesburg as part of a graduate management programme and is known for transforming hotel culture and operations with her people-first approach, with a keen focus on mentoring and developing aspiring female talent.
Home to England RFU Training centre, Pennyhill Park has a reputation for hosting elite performers and is a regular choice amongst business meeting and event planners who are drawn to the high-performance energy.

She takes over from Graham Copeman who left Pennyhill Park after six years to pursue other opportunities.
