The Incentive Research Foundation (IRF) held its inaugural European Event last month (24-26 February), bringing together an exclusive group of incentive experts from across the UK and Europe at The Ritz-Carlton Penha Longa Resort in Portugal.
Having long been an admirer of The Incentive Research Foundation, often quoting their research in my articles and wishing we had good quality research on the incentive market in the UK & Europe, I was thrilled to be able to join this event and get a sneak peek of the IRF’s first-ever study focused solely on the European market (out today).
The well-curated three-day program included some insightful panel sessions, and interactive round table discussions, alongside activities and dining experiences that gave us a taste of what the hotel, and surrounding region has to offer incentive groups.
Topics covered through the panel and roundtable discussions included the outcomes of the IRF’s European study, trends and challenges impacting incentive planners in the region including the role of AI in incentive travel, the impact of Gen Z and Millennials on incentive travel, and sustainability in incentive travel.
Event partners and sponsors included VOQIN’ and Penha Longa, Destination Canada, Crystal Cruises, Terra Events and Ovation Spain.
