Event management agency Powwow has announced a significant expansion with the addition of seven new team members over the past few months, reflecting strong client growth and expanded service offerings.
The most recent hire, Dan Preston, joined as project director on 7 October from Live Group. In his new role as project director, he will collaborate with the team across various client sectors and projects leveraging his experience to ensure successful event delivery. “I’m looking forward to working on a wide range of projects with some interesting clients and really becoming part of this talented and enthusiastic team,” said Preston.
Hayley Gould has also joined as project director, bringing over 20 years of industry experience to Powwow. After freelancing for the company in 2021 and 2022 on three large events, she took on a full-time role as a project director at another agency before returning to Powwow.
She said: “I am so happy to be back working within the Powwow team. I love the company’s values, mainly the ‘People First’ ethos. I can’t wait to be working with other event professionals who care as much about the people and our events as I do.”
Emma Hufflet and Megan Hughes have also recently joined the agency as project managers. Hufflet previously held roles at Hire Space, Pure Communications Group,and most recently Strive events agency. Hughes joined following roles at MCM Creative, DRPG and more recently Sledge.
Chloe Lambert, Izzy Martin and Trinity Stilwell have joined as project co-ordinators to support the project team, with Lambert joining from Live Group, Martin coming from Abstract Events, where she delivered events for clients in the medical, not-for-profit, and retail sectors, and Stilwell transitioning over from Massive Ltd, a sporting, charity and mass participation agency.
This significant team expansion underscores Powwow’s commitment to maintaining high-quality service while accommodating increased client demand. The diverse experience and skills of these new team members will further the agency’s ability to deliver exceptional events for existing and new clients.
