We’re excited to announce that Nic Sancho has joined the micebook team as director of growth & creative strategy. Nic will be responsible for launching a new addition to our event portfolio, X: by micebook.
A bold new 1-1 networking experience where the future of meetings and business connections is reimagined, X: by micebook represents the place where cutting-edge destinations and game-changing ideas are found and meaningful connections forged.
Over three dynamic days, attendees will embark on a journey unlike any other, set against the backdrop of an exceptional international location. The “X” symbolises discovery, innovation, and collaboration—core elements that are reshaping how we approach meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.
Nic joins micebook with extensive experience in the meetings and events industry, having spent six years leading the team at The Meetings Space as MD. Prior to that, he was head of Convention Bureau (UK, Ireland, Nordics) at Malta Tourism Authority and sales & marketing manager at Moulden Marketing.
“I am thrilled to join micebook and contribute to its innovative journey. Together, we will build meaningful connections and create impactful experiences for our community of event professionals. I am looking forward to working with an incredibly creative team and to disrupting our ever-changing industry,” he said.
Chetan Shah, CEO & founder of micebook commented: “At micebook, we thrive on the talent and dedication of our people, and I am incredibly fortunate to work alongside some of the finest professionals in our industry. When Nic and I first started talking, it was just a casual conversation, but it quickly became clear that there was a great opportunity for us to collaborate and offer something truly distinctive to the event community.
“Nic’s enthusiasm for innovation aligns perfectly with our mission to be the heart of the industry, and I am confident that together, we can create something X-traordinary. I am excited to see how Nic’s vision will shape the future of our offerings and make a lasting impact.”
