The Meetings Show is returning to ExCeL London on 19-20 June 2024 and yet again promises to be THE must attend industry show this summer, empowering #eventprofs to think, connect, plan and live differently.

If you’ve yet to register, here’s a little taster of what to expect, and just a few reasons why you should #TakeTheTime to sign up today…

Top buyers

The Meetings Show welcomes qualified buyers within the meetings, events and incentives industry and always attracts top quality attendees with representatives from corporate and agency brands such as Agiito, AXA, BCD Meetings & Events, EDF, BNP Paribas, George P Johnson, Smyle, Top Banana, Shell International, Santander, Identity and HSBC already confirmed this year.

There are various ways to register to attend The Meetings Show 2024, including as a buyer attendee or a hosted buyer. The latter will enable you to enjoy all the benefits of a buyer attendee, plus: a dedicated appointment diary, travel and accommodation for those outside London, exclusive networking events, UK and European fam trips, and more.

To maintain The Meetings Show’s renowned reputation for attracting quality buyers, all applications for complimentary attendance are fully vetted. Other meetings industry professionals are welcome to attend by purchasing a non-buyer visitor ticket.

Stellar exhibitor line-up

The Meetings Show gives buyers the chance to meet with the industry’s best suppliers from across the globe under one roof, ensuring their destination and product knowledge is bang up to date.

This year’s show boasts a strong international presence with Atout France, Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau, Catalan Tourist Board, Destination Vancouver, Meet in Ireland, Destination DC, Gibraltar Tourist Board, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Istanbul CVB, Meet Riga, Zagreb Tourist Board and Convention Bureau and Zimbabwe Tourism Authority among the destinations confirmed.

Exhibiting for the first time is STAR Your World, which will be joined by six DMC partners; the Greek National Tourist Office, VisitDetroit CVB, Casa de Campo, Visit Faroes, Hyatt Hotels and The Hoxton.

As always, the show will be well-represented by UK destinations and venues, including newcomers Sodexo, University of Kent and Ambassador Theatre Group, alongside ICC Wales, Destination Wembley, Conference Oxford, Leicester Conferences, Visit Brighton, London & Partners, Visit Scotland and York Conferences & Events.

Thought-provoking education programme

The content programme has once again been curated by The Attendee Experience Company (atex), building on the success of last year’s partnership. It features 35 sessions split across four key themes – Impact & Inform and Innovate & Inspire – with an impressive line-up of expert speakers covering topics including event marketing trends, security, AI, creativity, experiential design, contract negotiation, sustainability and much more.

The show will kick off with 9 to Thrive: Dolly Parton’s Guide to Sustainably Rocking Events and Meetings with Be in your Element’s Lucy Eden and Judge the Poet – How To Trust Your Imagination And Explode Your Creativity.

Highlights across the two days include Felicia Asiedu of Cvent’s debate on the topic of standardised job titles across the industry titled: Untangling The Knot: Navigating Job Role Ambiguity and Salary Disparities in the Event Industry; a session with Nick Rosier entitled From Zero to Event Hero: AI-Powered Event Creation in 30 minutes, and our own session micebook ‘Talks’ Captivating Corporate Event Leads: Navigating The Live Events Resurgence.

Back for a second year, the Blank Canvas stage will showcase best practice event design with sessions throughout the two days featuring AI hackathons, a Neurodiverse Design Challenge and an innovation showdown.

Networking opportunities

There’s no better place to meet other people in the events, meetings and incentives community than The Meetings Show. As well as catching up with industry peers and friends, the show offers plenty of opportunities to make new connections and grow your network.

There will be countless social events taking place throughout the show and London, from the official welcome reception for hosted buyers, to on-stand drinks and after-show parties including the micebook Awards on the evening of 20 June.
