Brand experience agency mccglc has announced announce a merger with behavioural change design agency Phorix Limited.
Founded by Dr Mark Lightowler, Phorix brings 30 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare science, strategy and branding, combined with behavioural science and engagement practice. Lightowler takes on the role of executive director of engagement, science and strategy at mccglc, strengthening the agency’s capabilities in life sciences, healthcare and technology sectors.
He brings a wealth of experience and is widely sought as a commentator and speaker, as well as holding numerous academic positions including visiting senior lecturer at King’s College London school of Cancer and Pharmaceutical sciences, chairman of digital medicines module at GMDP Academy.
The agency said that clients are demanding more knowledge about the depth and value of engagement their events deliver and want to understand how to truly connect and create long-lasting engagement. This merger allows the two agencies to bring together their skills in spatial design, branding, content and analytics, with a focus on behavioural science and human insight.
Matteo Console Camprini, founder and CEO of mccglc, said: “The merger of mccglc and Phorix is another important step forward as we continue to shape and scale our offer for the future. The complementary blend of our teams positions us at the forefront of creating brand experiences that connect and deliver for our clients”.
Lightowler added: “We have worked together for 17 years, and this merger strengthens our ability to deliver exceptional customer engagement from branding and analytics through to events and exhibitions.”
