It’s now just over six weeks to go till micebook Ventures Chapter II: Re-Wild Your Business and we’re inviting agency and corporate buyers who share our vision for building a more sustainable events industry to sign up now.
Join planners from companies including emc3, TTA, Hyphen, Shore Events, Sledge, Goho and more, who are attending the event, which takes place on 5-7 June at the new Birch (Selsdon).
You will get the opportunity to meet with suppliers that are also committed to sustainability, including Singapore Tourism Board, Failte Ireland, ACC Liverpool, Silverstone, The London Edition, Destination Vancouver, Level Up, Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism, JW Marriott Hotel Berlin, ASM Global and many more. There will also be inspirational education and debate, along with experiential activities.
micebook Ventures is a sustainable summit for purpose-driven event industry leaders, which is founded on the 1:1 buyer-supplier meetings model but with a unique twist, themed around the concept of Rebuilding Better.
Our primary aim is to move away from the super-stacked, death-by-meetings environment and provide an alternative setting, which continues to offer the opportunity to talk one-on-one, but also provide practical, shared experiences, which address global issues through a dynamic, experiential programme.
The theme for Chapter II is ‘Re-Wilding Your Business, Restoring Our World’. We’re evolving the ideas, education and solutions available to the particular needs of the meetings and events sector by exploring why we must avoid the Sixth Extinction of our rich and varied biosphere and what can we learn from Mother Nature about how we organise, measure and value the part of our lives that still occupies most of our waking time.
Newly opened in South Croydon this month, Birch (Selsdon) – sister property to Birch (Cheshunt) – is the perfect partner venue. Taking over what was formerly the Selsdon Park Hotel and a golf course, the 200-acre sister site has undergone a rewilding project headed by designer and environmentalist Sebastian Cox, with free-roaming long-horned cattle and Exmoor ponies being introduced as part of the initiative.
