Wembley Park and selected event venues have announced the launch of a new brand, Destination Wembley, to promote the destination as a global player for major events, conferences and meetings.
Working in partnership with the Asset Partners, Destination Wembley’s key objective is to help event planners create best in class events at this iconic location.
Destination Wembley has partnered with AbleMaxx Ltd to represent Destination Wembley in the UK MICE marketplace and act as its single sales resource, co-ordinating with the member venues.
AbleMaxx recently held its own showcase at Wembley Park using The Drum at Brent Civic for the speaker and workshop presentations, Wembley Stadium for the VIP lunch and gala event with guests hosted at Hilton London Wembley and Novotel London Wembley.
“Now is the right time to be launching Destination Wembley. After considerable investment from Quintain, spanning two decades, Wembley Park is looking magnificent, and I would urge anyone who hasn’t been recently to visit,” said AbleMaxx MD Maxine MacPherson.
“We invited 75 event planners to Wembley Park for our showcase in December 2022 and clients were overwhelmed at how much easier it is to get to Wembley and how much Wembley Park has developed over the past 10 years. There is value to be had holding your events at Wembley Park, especially at a time when prices are exceptionally high in central London.”
Wembley has always been the home of great events and its recent transformation and state-of-the-art facilities make it capable of hosting every kind of event, including large-scale conferences.
Wembley Park has a delegate capacity of 20,500, 1,400 hotel rooms, 3000 parking spaces, 250 active and passive EV charging points and 70,000sqm outdoor space. Only nine minutes from Central London, there is easy access by tube and train to Wembley Park and Wembley Central underground stations and Wembley Stadium train stations.
