Continuing the theme of business as a force for good, introduced at our inaugural Ventures in November, the content programme for our second micebook EXPO will feature topics including purpose and personal development, creating people-first cultures, sustainability, accessibility and DE&I.
Melissa Noakes, Head of Sponsorship and Events, Santander, will deliver a session entitled ‘I made it to the Head of Meetings/Events Director, but what’s Next?’, exploring untapped opportunities within the industry for seasoned event professionals.
‘Achieving Sustainability Goals without Breaking the Bank’ will discuss navigating beyond profits for social and environmental good with a panel featuring Richard Boon, Managing Director, Webmart, Selina Donald, Founder and Chief Sustainability Adviser, The Bulb, Amy Underdown, Head of Events and Marketing, Oxford Analytica and Patrick Ockendon, Client Development Director, The Collective.
First Event’s Managing Director Richard Murphy and Employee Engagement Manager Catherine Wallace will share an event agency’s perspective on integrating a people-driven approach across their organisation, Lady Marie Dawson-Malcolm, Corporate Partnerships Coordinator at Spinal Injuries Association and accessibility expert, will take part in a session on perspectives on DE&I and accessibility, while Lavina Mehta MBE will tackle the topic of the menopause and the confusion surrounding it.
The event, taking place on 30-31 January at Convene in London’s Liverpool Street, will offer corporate and agency buyers the opportunity to learn, develop and connect with the best industry suppliers.
