We’re thrilled to announce that Zoe Tuffs, founder and talent development coach, Times Ten Coaching, is joining the micebook team to develop and head up our new learning and development offering for the events industry.
Industry research and our own insights from our regular event agency leader meetings have revealed there is a need for training in multiple areas, and at all levels from junior through to leadership.
In her new role as head of learning and people development, Tuffs will lead micebook’s charge to support the event professional community with a blended learning experience combining online training, live cohort coaching and peer-to-peer support. The goal is to empower people to work smarter not harder by levelling up their capabilities and career impact.
She will work alongside Chetan Shah, micebook founder and CEO and the micebook team to create bespoke L&D activations that will directly meet the ever-changing needs of people across the events sector.
Tuffs has a background working in house; leading global events for Toyota, before making the leap to join award-winning agency Wonder London as Growth & Strategy Partner.
As the founder of Times Ten Coaching, she delivers workshops and 1-2-1 coaching sessions to individuals and teams alike; giving her a clear understanding of what drives and motivates eventprofs to join, thrive in or leave a business.
Chetan Shah, micebook founder and CEO, said: “We are delighted to bring Zoe’s knowledge, energy and passion to micebook and lead our people learning and development charge. We have a mission to level up the professionalisation of the industry through relevant and bespoke training for our sector. At the entry level the gap between theory and practice is too large and at a senior level, leadership training can be general but even better if it is tailored to the very nuanced sector that we all work in.”
Tuffs added: “I am excited to join the micebook team and join them in their mission to inspire their growing community of over 24k eventprofs, I know first-hand how hard it can be to thrive in this sector.
“For so many of us, L&D opportunities get pushed down the agenda, blindsided by the daily demands of live deadlines. Adding to the problem is the lack of training that is fit for purpose. Working at micebook gives me the opportunity to serve at the heart of the industry and take an insight-led approach to directly plug the gaps in skills, expertise and knowledge.”
