It’s just one month to go to our V Awards ceremony, and we’re excited to announce the shortlist for our Industry Change Maker Award, a brand-new award for this year’s V Awards, designed to honour and celebrate a stand-out individual who has truly been a “Change Maker” in our industry.
The shortlist for our first Industry Change Maker Award is:
Anna Abdelnoor, Co-Founder, isla
Fay Sharpe, founder, Fast Forward 15
Gabrielle Austen-Browne, founder, Diversity Alliance & Diverse Speaker Bureau
Jennifer Jenkins, board director, Worldspan
Rick Stainton, founder, The Power of Events (formerly One Industry One Voice) & founder, Smyle
Steve Quah, founder & CEO, Cheerful Twentyfirst
To create the shortlist, we asked our nineteen group of agency leaders to nominate the inspiring industry individuals they feel have been at the forefront of championing our industry externally or inspiring change within it, for example, by advocating mental health, diversity, sustainability – or by bringing people in our industry together for the greater good.
The winner will be voted by our V Awards expert judging panel, representing a broad cross-section of the industry including corporate brands, agencies and event technology providers.
The V Awards ceremony takes place one month today on Friday 1 July 2022, where we look forward to hosting you at the Pan Pacific London for an evening of celebration and great networking.
There are only a few remaining tables available, so get your tickets now to avoid missing out on the must-attend industry awards event for #eventprofs in 2022.
This year’s awards categories include Best Internal Communications Event, Best Agency, Best Virtual Events Platform, Best Sustainable Solution, Best Virtual Studio and Best Audience Engagement. Shortlisted companies include Sledge, OrangeDoor, Open Audience, Live Union, Brands at Work, INVNT Group, ICC Belfast, Singapore Tourism Board, Cvent, Green Route Africa, DRPG and many more.
