We’re excited to launch our new micebook voice influencer programme #voicediaries, which gives member suppliers the opportunity to have their hotels and destinations reviewed by influential #eventprofs from our buyer community.
The initial line up of influencers includes: EMC3 Head of Business Development Josh King; Green & Pleasant Account Director Nicola Roodt; eveology Founder Paul Evans; Your Event Solutions Director Amy Rennison; Absolute Corporate Events Owner & Client Strategies Director Chris Parnham; and freelancer Toni Young.
Supplier members will have the opportunity to host one of our influencers to showcase their hotel or destination, and in return receive social promotion from the influencer and further social/content marketing through micebook channels.
Chetan Shah, micebook founder, said: “micebook’s core focus has always been to facilitate connections between event buyers and event suppliers. In these challenging times, we need to adapt and find new ways of gaining product knowledge and inspiring others.
“We have launched #voicediaries to support the needs of the buyer-supplier network. This new influencer campaign will target key event planners from the micebook voice community network who have the social power to influence and report on hotel and destination members.”
Josh King and Nicola Roodt said they are excited and honoured to be influencers for the #voicediaries campaign. “This is going to be a great way to help our industry on the road to recovery. Social selling is a very powerful tool and showcases like this will help to drive sales, brand awareness and engagement,” commented King.
Paul Evans added: “As an avid reader of industry reviews, especially by peers and fellow event planners, this is a great initiative to get new, fresh, online inspiration for hotels especially as they are having a difficult period. Independent reviews by third party event organisers certainly is more likely to influence me in venue considerations. Any campaign to get industry thinking ‘beyond COVID’ is a winner for me!”
Our first supplier hosts include Sea Containers London, Gleneagles, the Mayfair Townhouse and Nobu Hotel London Portman Square.
Lore Group Global Sales Director Josephine Somers said: “We are delighted to be involved with micebook’s new voice diaries so that we can showcase Sea Containers London, and our health and safety procedures to ensure guest confidence and safety in this current climate.”
Nobu Hotel London Portman Square Senior Groups Sales Manager added: “In these unprecedented times with restricted movements across the globe it is wonderful to have the opportunity to showcase the hotel to the masses through influential eventprofs in a more relaxed environment.”
