Vilnius is taking its venues online to help event planners who are unable to organise a site visit to see them virtually.
With convenient 3D models of meeting spaces, it is now possible to see what Vilnius has to offer and plan events from the comfort and safety of home.
Go Vilnius, the city’s development agency, is currently digitalising the city’s most popular meeting and event venues, including hotels, universities, theatres, museums, and business centres suitable for association conferences and corporate meetings.
The virtual venue models are available to explore as 3D spaces where visitors can take a walk and inspect every detail of the venue, or they can get an overall view of the space in the form of a floor plan and take measurements.
The destination has been quick to implement digital solutions, which reinforces its position as one of the fastest-growing technology hubs in Europe.
Meeting planners are invited to use the Venue Finder and look for the 3D sign.
Venues that have virtual models so far include Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania (pictured), Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva, Arkangelo Conference & Art Centre, Merchants Club, MO Museum, Vilnius Town Hall, Crowne Plaza Vilnius and Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius.
