With his best attire packed, Mister Micebook is off to check out the latest trends and new hotels in New York City …
Fashion District be ready, Mister Micebook is on his way over in his best London swag. With a 2020 ambition to check out all of the major ‘Fashion Week’ cities, his first stop is NYC for a chic preview of next season’s trends.
And while in town, he’ll also be grabbing an exclusive preview of some of the new hotel properties due to make their Big Apple debut soon. He’ll be checking in to Hudson Yards haunt, the Equinox Hotel New York (pictured above) – dubbed by the Wall Street Journal as “the fittest hotel hotel on earth” – where he can start each day with a SoulCycle session and end them sipping cocktails in Stephen Starr’s Electric Lemon bar and restaurant.
A favourite with the glitterati, the 452-roomed Ian Schrager designed Times Square Edition Hotel will also be featuring on Mister Micebook’s trip as he seeks out the hedonistic fash pack.
His next stop will the XI Building in West Chelsea where Six Senses will open a property in the fall which promises to be a centre of wellness with cryotherapy and tincture bars plus sound bowl therapy and the city’s only geodesic meditation room.
Meanwhile, he’s already planned his return for next season’s shows, to coincide with the launch of the Aman New York – an 83-roomed luxury property located at the prestigious address of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street, overlooking Central Park that’s due to open in late 2020.
