Five Senses Explorer, Bangkok
Bangkok Five Senses takes you through a series of sense-led experiences in the city. Jump on a Tuk Tuk ride through Bangkok’s Rattanakosin Island and make a stop at Baan Bat Village, the only remaining village of three established by Rama I. Here we can witness (Sight) local villagers’ hand-crafting monks’ bowls just as they always have since the 1700s. We then visit Golden Mountain and listen (hearing) to the elegant sound of Tahi bells.
Continue to the Flower Market, a blaze of colour where the air is filled with heavenly scents (Smell). From a floor of dazzling flowers, we head up to a hidden balcony that is home to a Thai kitchen. Here we join a one-hour hands-on cooking session (Touch). Ending the day with your own cooked lunch (Taste).
