With Pride Month now underway across much of the globe, there’s never been a better time to check out the options to tie in a weekend break and celebrate overseas.

Madame micebook and friends are heading out to Scandinavia’s largest pride festival, Stockholm Pride, which coincides this year with EuroPride, the annual pan-European LGBTI pride festival, making it one of Europe’s largest celebrations this month.

This city goes all out for pride – expect to see rainbows and flags proudly displayed across the city’s buses and public transport and from many businesses too. Taking place from July 29th – August 3rd 2019, the event features a “pride park” with live music and acts anticipated including Melanie C of Spice Girls fame, Pussy Riot everyone’s favourite crowd pleaser – the Village People.

When it comes to accommodation choices, all of Madame’s design-led buddies might be talking about Blique by Nobis, the super Scandi cool urban retreat set in trendy and upcoming Hagastaden, but she’s got her shiny eyes on the Grow Hotel where its slightly worthy name can be more than forgiven by the quality of its outstanding Japanese restaurant.
