Knightsbridge Global Representation has been appointed UK sales representative for Alpin Convention, expanding its DMC portfolio with a specialist in meetings and incentives across the Alps.
Headquartered in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, Alpin Convention has 35 years’ experience delivering events across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Italian Alps. Its team of 14 works with agencies, corporates and associations on meetings, incentives, conferences and events.
Knightsbridge Global Representation will handle UK enquiries, proposals, site inspections and familiarisation trips, working alongside the Alpin Convention team.
The DMC specialises in creative corporate events and teambuilding, including hands-on workshops with local carpenters, artists and athletes. Groups can build items such as mobile wheelchair ramps, biodiversity towers and wooden sleds, often supporting local community or environmental projects. It can also arrange green meeting certification.
“The Alps offer UK planners something quite special, world class scenery, excellent hotels and a real sense of escape, all within a short flight of London,” said Nicola Byrne, managing director of Knightsbridge Global Representation.

The appointment follows Knightsbridge’s first DMC partnership with Spain’s maximice events group, announced in April. Byrne launched the representation company in January, with a portfolio that now also includes Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts, Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
