DRPG has expanded its Presentation Consultancy Service, designed to help clients speak with greater confidence and impact, elevating the audience experience.
The creative communications agency had previously provided the service on an ad hoc basis but expanded the offering and team due to increased client demand. The consultancy provides end-to-end support, from developing a strong narrative and structuring content, to designing impactful slides and coaching speakers on stage presence, body language, and vocal delivery.
It is led by Catherine Shepherd, an experienced communications specialist and former head of copy at DRPG, who has spent her career shaping powerful messaging and coaching executives and politicians to command world stages.
Her career spans more than a decade, from digital marketing roles working with brands such as Spotify and ASOS, to high-profile communications work with two UK Prime Ministers and senior corporate leaders. At DRPG, she has played a pivotal role in refining messaging across live events, marketing campaigns, and employee communications.
“With all the work we do in the live event sector, it became clear that there was a real need for a full service that supported presenters from start to finish. Our presentation consultancy gets to the heart of what you’re trying to achieve, and fine-tunes your messaging, gives you exciting visual content and ensures your delivery is on point,” said Shepherd.
“My role is to make sure all elements align to deliver powerful presentations, and that speakers are confident, engaging, and prepared. One of the biggest misconceptions about public speaking is that experience alone makes you a good speaker. The best speakers are the ones who put in the work. If you’re asking the audience to give you their time, you owe it to them to be engaging, prepared, and memorable.”
From senior executives at Nationwide and BT, to event keynotes and on-stage presentations, she has worked with speakers across many industries to refine their content and delivery.
Katherine Quigley, social impact manager at Nationwide, commented: “It went better than I could have hoped for. Remembered my warm-up, my breathing, my posture. Didn’t flap my hands too much (I think!), didn’t faff with my hair. Managed to bring energy and emphasis. A massive thank you for the support and confidence you’ve given me. I feel super proud of what I have delivered, and it’s been great to work with you.”
