Experience Economy expert, bestselling author and futurist James Wallman will deliver the keynote session at micebook LUXE 2026, in partnership with Speakers Corner.
Taking place at Chewton Glen in the New Forest on 9-10 November, the third annual LUXE will bring together UK luxury event and incentive buyers with top-tier suppliers for two days of experiences, content and networking.
This year’s event will continue to explore the art of meaningful luxury, with a focus on the idea that presence is the new prestige.
In a world obsessed with speed, constant access and endless noise, LUXE will consider whether the rarest luxury is no longer things, but time: time to think, time to feel and time to be fully present.
It’s a theme that ties closely with Wallman’s work exploring the Experience Economy and how we spend our most precious resource: time.
Wallman is founder and CEO of the World Experience Organization (WXO), a global community for the Experience Economy with more than 1,000 members across 50 countries, including experience professionals from Walt Disney Imagineering, Moment Factory, Meow Wolf and Industrial Light & Magic.
He is also the author of two international bestselling books. His first, Stuffocation, introduced the concept of ‘experientialism’ and explored the shift from material possessions towards experiences, while his second, Time And How To Spend It, was named a Book of the Year by the Financial Times.
In Time And How To Spend It, Wallman explores what makes some experiences more fulfilling than others and how people can make more conscious choices about the way they spend their time, drawing on insights from psychology, economics and culture.
His session at LUXE will bring these ideas into the context of meaningful luxury, exploring the value of time and experiences at a moment when attention and presence are becoming increasingly precious.
The third edition of LUXE builds on previous events at The Fish Hotel & Retreat in 2025 and Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, A Belmond Hotel, in 2024.
Set within 130 acres of Hampshire countryside, 18th-century country house hotel Chewton Glen provides a fitting setting for this year’s theme, giving attendees the opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature and spend quality time together.
Corporate and agency buyers who book luxury events and incentives are invited to register their interest for micebook LUXE 2026 now.
