Leicester-based independent agency SomeBrightSpark (SBS) has appointed George Guildford as Partner and Executive Creative Director, and elevated Client Services Director Ellie Anderson to Partner, as the agency moves to a broader partner-led structure.
Guildford joins from Moshi, where he led creative output across TV, social, documentaries, live events and influencer work for brands including Audi, Mercedes-AMG and Volvo. Before that he spent 14 years running his own social-first creative agency, working with Sony, Apple, John Lewis and Dior. At SBS he will lead the agency’s creative production, film and social offering.
Anderson joined SBS in 2012 as a producer, having previously worked at the BBC, and has since risen to Client Services Director. Her elevation to partner reflects the agency’s shift toward a more collaborative ownership model.
Founded in 2008, SBS works with clients including Caterpillar, Volkswagen Financial Services, Pfizer, Pinterest and Elavon across campaigns, film, live experiences and social content.
Managing Director Daniel Rogers said the appointments mark “a real step forward creatively” for the agency, adding: “We’ve always believed agencies outside London can compete creatively at the very highest level. Our ambition is simply to keep building work that proves it.“
