When Sky needs to make an impact, it turns to a partner it knows can deliver – INCA Productions. We explore some of the high-profile events the agency has created for the leading media and entertainment brand…
Background & brief: Defining moments for Sky
Over the past five years, INCA Productions has become one of Sky’s most trusted creative production agencies, delivering a diverse portfolio of work across product launches, red-carpet premieres, B2B communications, internal engagement programmes, and global purpose-driven initiatives.
“Our team doesn’t just “do” events,” says Jo Parsons, managing partner, INCA Productions. “We build immersive brand worlds that stir emotion, command attention, and create lasting cultural resonance.”
This creative ethos aligned perfectly with Sky’s needs for two pivotal moments in the brand’s history: the launch of Sky Glass, its first streaming-integrated smart TV, and Sky Up Next, a showcase of its upcoming unscripted content.
The Solution: From Pitch to Production
A Multisensory Reveal – Sky Glass
Following a competitive pitch, INCA was awarded the contract to deliver the largest event in Sky’s history since its 1989 launch: the unveiling of Sky Glass, its first-ever streaming-integrated smart TV.
Sky Glass was the first time all of Sky’s services were brought together in one TV device. INCA bespoke engineered a kinetic 360 AV system that showed all of Sky’s services individually on each high-res huge LED screen. As the launch evolved, the screens began to move with the soundtrack, and at the exact moment that Sky Glass was spoken about for the first time, all screens linked up for the first time and burst into a single image of the logo. It was a complete first and brought about a spontaneous standing ovation.
Talent-Led Storytelling – Sky Up Next
If Sky Glass represented a product evolution, Sky Up Next was about content and culture. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman at Theatre Royal, the event brought together top-tier talent from Sky’s most anticipated shows, preview screenings, and a dynamic stage programme.
But what made the experience special was the afterparty, where INCA built immersive environments tailored to each piece of content, designed specifically for social sharing, content capture, and maximum emotional impact. Every detail, from red-carpet timing to set transitions, was choreographed with precision and flair.
A Strategic Creative Partner
Central to INCA’s partnership with Sky is the ability to challenge briefs, offering bold alternatives that push boundaries while strengthening audience connection. This approach has yielded standout results across multiple projects, including:
- Sky Hubs – Global incentive programmes and CSR activations
- Sky Together – B2B and internal communication initiatives
- Sky Product Launches – Multi-day international activations featuring keynotes, demos, and immersive environments
By navigating Sky’s complex internal stakeholder ecosystem with agility, INCA ensures delivery across diverse departments, from marketing and PR to product and CSR.
The Results: Resonance, Reach & Repeat Success
The Sky Glass launch exceeded expectations, generating significant earned media, strengthening internal alignment, and positioning Sky as a true tech innovator. Feedback identified the event as a defining cultural moment for the company.
Meanwhile, Sky Up Next delivered strong media and social engagement, enhanced relationships with talent and producers, and positive fan sentiment. Premium content captured across red carpets and immersive environments amplified the experience far beyond the event itself.
For INCA, the greatest measure of success lies in the trust and repeat collaborations that continue to define its relationship with Sky.
