Raffles London at The OWO opens this week 1024 683 micebook.

Raffles London at The OWO will finally make its debut in the former Old War Office on Whitehall this Friday (29 September).

Over the past eight years, Britain’s Old War Office has been carefully renovated to its former glory in partnership between the Hinduja Group and Accor. Historic interior elements have been restored, including delicate hand-laid mosaic floors, oak panelling, glittering chandeliers, and a magnificent marble staircase.

The luxury brand’s first UK property, Raffles London at The OWO will offer 120 rooms and suites, 85 branded residences, and three dining experiences by acclaimed chef Mauro Colagreco.

At his signature restaurant Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London at The OWO, diners will witness Mauro’s culinary innovation and passion for sustainability through his commitment to sourcing local, seasonal ingredients. Mauro’s Table, an intimate space backed by a dramatic show kitchen, will offer private dining for up to 23 guests, while Saison will serve Mediterranean cuisine throughout the day in former historic library of the Old War Office.

In addition to restaurants by Mauro Colagreco, the hotel will feature an additional four independent restaurants including Café Lapérouse set in the main courtyard, Paper Moon (pictured above), cult Milanese restaurant Langosteria, and a Japanese rooftop restaurant and Sake Bar by Creative Restaurant Group.

Further outlets include The Drawing Room, a relaxed all-day dining lounge overlooking Horse Guards, and Pillar Kitchen, a wellbeing-focused outlet, The Guard’s Bar and Lounge, which will introduce a signature ‘London Sling’, and a subterranean cocktail bar called The Spy Bar.

For meetings and events, the Whitehall Ballroom (below) offers capacity for up to 600 guests, accessed via the Grand Staircase, and complemented by an extensive pre-function space and dedicated meeting rooms, named Morse and Code.

The Guerlain Spa at Raffles London is set to be one of the largest luxury hotel spas in the capital, spanning 2,500sqm over four floors, with a 20m swimming pool, nine treatment suites, an extensive gym and L’Atelier Guerlain.
