The micebook Awards 2023 will be taking place at The Dorchester London on Thursday 29 June, with marketing and events heads from corporate brands including Gartner, Intelliflo, Oracle, HubSpot and Temenos among the expert judging panel lined up.
We’re thrilled to be partnering with The Dorchester for this year’s event, which is having a makeover just like the micebook Awards making it the perfect host venue for our reimagined awards.
For 2023, we have dropped the ‘V’ and are inviting brands and agencies to enter live events as well as virtual and hybrid as well as launching new categories to recognise and celebrate our amazing partner community.
The Dorchester, meanwhile, recently unveiled its refurbished ground floor, including new looks for the The Promenade and Vesper Bar, following a lengthy restoration. Representing the iconic property’s first major renovation in more than 30 years, it’s part of a phased project that includes two guest floors and the addition of a new Cake & Flowers boutique.
The hotel brought in renowned designers to oversee the works, including Pierre Yves-Rochon, who is transforming the lobby, The Promenade, the guest rooms and suites, and Martin Brudnizki, who has redesigned the famed bar.
The micebook Awards will celebrate excellence across the events industry, with categories including Best Incentive, Best Product Launch, Best Creative Concept, Best Internal Communications Event, Best Charity or CSR Event, Best in-house Corporate Team, Best Event Technology Provider, Best Agency and Best Sustainable Event.
New categories for this year include Best New Agency category, to celebrate an outstanding newcomer to the UK event agency market, and five new partner categories including Best Hotel Brand, Best Event Venue, Best Representation Company, Best Tourism or Convention Bureau and Best Destination Management Company.
Entries will be independently judged by a panel of experienced experts representing a broad cross-section of the industry including corporate brands, agencies and event technology providers.
These include Sophie Talbot, Head of Global Events at Temenos, Christina Walls, Chief Marketing Officer at Intelliflo, Elaine Byrne, Global Conferences Director at Gartner, Hugo Whicher, Head of Events at Oracle, Venetia Campbell, Global Event Specialist at Hubspot, Nel Flint, Global Operations Director – Events at BCD M&E, Mark Taylor, Director at Taylor Made and Leslie Robertson, Founder & CEO of Open Audience.
The deadline for entries is 14 April. We are offering a discount for entries received by the early bird deadline of 17 March.

OrangeDoor, Cheerful Twentyfirst, DRPG, Smyle, EventsAIR, Singapore Tourism Board and many more were crowned winners at the micebook V Awards 2022, which brought together around 200 eventprofs to celebrate at our live ceremony, last summer.
Elizabeth Heron, Founder & CEO at OrangeDoor said: “Winning Agency of the Year and the Grand Prix was a huge boost to all our people in recognition of their hard work in 2022. Being awarded by micebook and the industry also had a significant impact on winning new business and retaining existing clients. Feedback from clients has identified our industry awards and our B Corp accreditation as significant influences in choosing OrangeDoor over other agencies.”
