It’s less than 3 weeks to go until micebook EXPO, and we can’t wait to bring eventprofs from the UK and beyond together to kick off the year on a high.
Taking place on 30-31 January at Convene in London, EXPO is where conversations are powered, and valuable connections are made. It’s our flagship event and one you won’t want to miss. Expect meaningful meetings, powerful content, and a thriving community, together with a warm micebook smile.
We share just five reasons why you should sign up to attend if you haven’t already…
- Content for everyone
This year content is open to all with a number of plenary sessions spread throughout the two days, so buyers and partners can come together to learn and develop. Continuing the theme of business as a force for good, introduced at our inaugural Ventures in November, the content will feature sessions on purpose, creating people-first cultures, sustainability, accessibility and DE&I.
Whether you are an MD or newcomer to the industry, there will be content relevant for everyone. For our nineteen agency leaders’ group, we’ll be running a thought-provoking session on “the power of personal human energy” at 3pm on Monday 30 January led by Mike Ford, who spent more than 20 years in the events industry and is now founder of Grateful Lemon.
There will also be a dedicated Next Gen content stream aimed at newcomers to the events industry that will cover everything from personal brand and on-site life to incentive travel myths, so bring your newbies along to learn.
- Meet with the best industry suppliers
EXPO is perfect for making sure you get the latest product updates from leading industry suppliers and leave armed with everything you need for your events in 2023.
Our app is now live, and buyers can book one-to-one meetings with our broad range of exhibitors, which include, hotels, venues, DMCs, Convention Bureaus.
Exhibitors already confirmed include Visit Belfast, Melbourne Convention Bureau, Barbican, Iconic Luxury Hotels, Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau, Melia, NH Hotels, About Partners, Destination Vancouver, Innovation Norway, The DMC Advantage, Pure Arabia, London & Partners, About Partners, Accor, Silverstone and many more!
- Work from EXPO
Worried about time away from your desk? Work from the EXPO in our co-working zone.
Following on from our inaugural micebook WRX in November, a new co-working concept for eventprofs, we’ll be providing a WRX zone at this year’s EXPO to enable attendees to catch up on emails, take calls or chat with your fellow colleagues and peers.
If you missed our first WRX, this is the perfect opportunity to get a taster, before we expand the concept and introduce regular co-working days for our community in 2023.
- Bring your team together for a kick-off meeting
Take advantage of our meeting room at EXPO to bring together your team and plan for the year ahead.
We are offering agencies the opportunity to hold their team or company meeting at EXPO. There is a meeting room, 27 capacity, refreshments and tech ready to help you kick off 2023. Limited time slots are available, and you can book here: meeting room
- Networking opportunities
And finally, there will be plenty of networking opportunities throughout the two days, including an evening party on Monday 30 January.
Unwind over a drink after a busy day of meetings and learning – it will be the perfect opportunity to catch up with industry friends and make new ones in a relaxed and informal setting.
