Black Book has announced the appointment of Colleen Gray as head of client services as part of the agency’s continued expansion.
Gray joins from Hilton, where she has spent the last 10 years working in various roles, most recently as sales director for Doubletree by Hilton London Docklands.
In her new role, she will be responsible for the day-to-day needs of clients as well as managing the venue find team. She will also work closely with Black Book founder Joe O’Connell on the company commercials and strategy for the future.
O’Connell said: “I am delighted to welcome Colleen to the team. We have worked together over the last 10 years and share very similar values. I am looking forward to working closely with Colleen and further enhancing Black Book’s offering.”
Gray added: “I’m so excited to be joining Black Book at this stage in their growth. Having worked in the hotel industry for over 10 years, I cannot wait to see what value I can add to the company moving forward.”
Black Book, which was founded during the pandemic in 2020 and celebrated its second anniversary in June, has now grown to a team of five offering a full range of event services including incentives, conferences, venue sourcing and creative communications.
