SongDivision launches new Leadership Track programme

SongDivision launches new Leadership Track programme 900 601 micebook.

SongDivision has partnered with Learning and Development experts Synaptic Potential, to launch Leadership Track – an accessible, in-depth, fun programme designed to inspire teams to bond and elevate leadership capabilities.

Launched globally this week, the dynamic programme is led by L&D specialists and world-class musicians. It is made up of six 90-minute sessions which explore the fundamental aspects of functional leadership in the workplace. These are: team cohesion, storytelling, belonging, feedback, creativity, and engagement

Participants deep dive into a series of conversations, then work together to capture key takeaways in song lyrics. This musical co-creation anchors learning, and the final song is recorded by the musicians – a powerful experience and an ongoing reminder of lessons learned.

Andy Sharpe, Founder and CEO, SongDivision, said: “The pandemic has redefined the necessary skills of a ‘great’ leader. The needs of employees have changed and hybrid working models are now the norm which impacts how team members bond, build trust, and develop relationships.

“Leadership Track is specifically designed for the challenges teams are facing today. It is easy to engage with, doesn’t require weeks of planning, and it evokes a richer understanding of workplace relationships and teamwork. We’ve amalgamated the power of music and almost 20 years in business, with the proven, neuroscience-based techniques developed by our partner, prominent L&D experts Synaptic Potential.”

Richard Case, Partner, Centerview Partners, recently completed the first session in the Leadership Track titled ‘Team Cohesion’.

“Our best work is done when we work together. As such, SongDivision’s Leadership Track underscored for us the importance of spending time on our team cohesion – which is critical to our success. As we are short on time, the programme was thoughtfully curated to deliver the maximum impact in a way that was content-rich, engaging and, dare I say, fun,” he said.

SongDivision won the Best Creative Concept Award at our inaugural V Awards last year, celebrating the best in virtual and hybrid events. Tickets for this year’s V Awards, at Pan Pacific London on 1 July 2022, are available now.
