The new property, which is set to be the largest integrated resort in Europe and the first of its kind in Cyprus, is being developed by Melco Resorts & Entertainment and its local partner CNS Group.
City of Dreams Mediterranean will feature a fourteen-storey, five-star hotel with 500 premier rooms and suites, approximately 9,600 sqm of meetings and event space, an outdoor amphitheatre, a family adventure park, a spacious entertainment area, and a variety of fine-dining outlets and luxury retail.
Its interior design will be based on Melco’s international luxury standards, specifically customised for Cyprus, while the exterior design will feature distinct Mediterranean influences.
Kai Schomann, hotel republic’s managing director, said: “City of Dreams Mediterranean is the upcoming development in Cyprus’ tourism and hospitality industry that everyone is talking about and we’re so proud to have been chosen to represent this integrated resort to our UK MICE clients. Guests and conference planners can expect the highest international standards and a state-of-the-art space for meetings, conferences, car launches, incentives and team-building events.”
Melco is a world leader in the leisure and entertainment sector with a portfolio of integrated resorts including City of Dreams Macau; a $1.1 billion iconic masterpiece designed by the late Dame Zaha Hadid.
