Identity has ranked 302 in the latest Financial Times’ list of Europe’s 1000 fastest growing businesses.

The UK events agency, which works with brands including Unilever, Siemens as well as delivering COP26, achieved a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue of 83.45 per cent between 2017 and 2020.

The list, compiled by the Financial Times and research company Statista, features the European companies that achieved the highest CAGR in revenue between 2017 and 2020. The minimum CAGR required to make the list was 36.5 per cent. This is the first time that Identity, based in Eastbourne and London, has featured in the list.

Identity’s Director of Growth, Nicola Bateman-Phillips said: “To be ranked 302 on such a prestigious list is a fantastic achievement. This is a clear vindication of Identity’s development strategies over the last five years and of our highly talented team. We are delighted to be ranked alongside Europe’s biggest businesses”

Identity’s MD, Michael Gietzen, added: “We have had to overcome a myriad of challenges in the last two years and to be placed at 302 out of 1000 is list is hugely rewarding. I’m so proud of everything Identity has achieved and even more excited about what we will do next”

The team of 150 reported 501% growth last year, and is forecasting a further 50% growth this year, with a three-year annual sales growth of 1,000 percent.
