Sustainable events agency Legacy has relaunched its brand with a new look and a suite of tools designed to help organisers improve the sustainability and strategic value of their events.
Central to the relaunch is what the B Corp certified agency calls the “worth the room” principle: if an event cannot achieve something that an email, a report or a video call could not, Legacy asks whether it should happen at all.
Alongside the rebrand, Legacy is launching three new tools: MerchMinder, which helps marketing and brand teams manage merchandise with sustainability, reuse and circularity built in; Sustainabuddy, an assessment tool to help organisers understand and improve the sustainability of their events; and Ultimate Planner, an event simulation game to help planners understand the impact of their decisions.
Abena Fairweather, chief executive officer of Legacy, said: “The first question we ask any client is why. We know that events are the secret weapon in a marketing comms toolkit. But they do cost money, time and a great deal of carbon. The events worth flying people across the world for are the ones where something actually shifts: a deal agreed, a partnership formed, a disagreement finally aired. That is what we design for.”
The agency, which works with corporates, international foundations, NGOs and membership bodies across multiple continents, says it is positioning itself as a strategic partner across three forces it sees as increasingly shaping significant events: global sensitivities, sustainability and AI.
The new website launches on 6 November at legacy-events.com, alongside a series of articles on why and how organisations gather.
