Goose Live Events has appointed Ben Pearson as executive director, corporate, to strengthen its specialist offering for the investor relations and governance community.
Well known for its automotive work, Goose has been diversifying into other corporate sectors, including investor relations. Pearson’s appointment will support that expansion, with a focus on helping organisations make their investor, governance and stakeholder programmes more engaging and effective through outstanding event delivery and programme optimisation.
His experience in Investor Relations and Corporate Governance – two areas central to Goose’s corporate events work – will further strengthen the support available to IR and Company Secretariat professionals. Having partnered with Goose for more than a decade, he already has a strong understanding of the agency and its clients.
Commenting on his appointment, Pearson said: “Goose is the best-kept secret in the events industry. Its collaborative approach, professionalism, customer focus and family feel are what has continued to attract me to the business. I’m excited to help build on that strong foundation and support the continued growth of its corporate events offering.”
Martyn Blunt, CEO of Goose Live Events, added: “Having worked closely with Ben for many years, we’ve seen first-hand the value he brings to clients and partners alike. His deep understanding of the investor relations and governance landscape, combined with his commercial experience and industry relationships, makes him a natural fit for Goose.
“As we continue to grow our corporate services offering, Ben’s appointment further strengthens our ability to deliver strategic value and exceptional experiences for our clients.”
The appointment follows a leadership restructure announced last year, which saw co-founder Blunt become CEO, Sam Trevenna take on the newly created role of chief experience officer and Luke Wigley become chief operating officer.
