There are not many hotel rooms that have stopped me in my tracks the moment I walked in, but Andaz One Bangkok managed to do exactly that. The automated blinds slide back as you enter the room, and suddenly there it is — the full floor-to-ceiling sweep of Bangkok laid out in front of you, with Lumphini Park stretching out in the middle of it all. It is one of those small design decisions that completely sets the tone for a stay, and it is a good indicator of the level of thought that has gone into this hotel throughout.

The hotel opened in December 2025 as part of One Bangkok, the largest integrated mixed-use development in the Thai capital, combining offices, retail, residences, cultural venues and hotels on Wireless Road, with direct access to Lumphini MRT station. It is Bangkok’s newest address and potentially its most ambitious. The rooms are designed under what Andaz calls a “Vertical Neighbourhood” concept, drawing on the colours and rhythms of the city. The room layout is generous, with a proper seating area, generous wardrobe space and small design details that resonated, for example, a wooden amenity box where every miniature fits together like a jigsaw. The view alone would have been enough to rave about, so the added details really made for a very memorable stay. There are 244 rooms and suites in total, ranging from 38 square metres up to a 197 square metre Presidential Suite, with the majority facing the park.

For planners, the event offering is also substantial. The Andaz Ballroom spans 380 square metres, with a five-metre ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lumphini Park and a 52 square metre built-in LED screen. It is absolutely flooded with natural light and green views, which can be a rarity in the middle of a bustling city. It accommodates up to 300 guests and divides into two smaller spaces for more intimate configurations. A pre-function area supports arrivals, coffee breaks and networking. For smaller gatherings, Atelier I provides 72 square metres for up to 45 guests, while Atelier II, at 49 square metres, suits focused discussions and board meetings for up to 35. The meeting rooms sit on the third floor, and are designed to connect the event spaces directly to the energy of Lumphini Park outside.

The food and drink offer is another one of the property’s strengths. Piscari, on the 23rd floor, brings Mediterranean coastal cooking and a supper club atmosphere to the rooftop, complete with a hidden speakeasy bar inspired by the Blue Grotto. The Andaz Lounge operates around the clock as an all-day gathering space, shifting naturally from daytime coffee stop to evening cocktails. For a group dinner or a drinks reception with a view, the rooftop is a very strong option. Andaz One Bangkok is well suited to incentive groups, senior leadership offsites, press events and high-end corporate programmes where the destination and the hotel need to be equally as impressive.
